The faculty of the Physics Department is robust, primarily covering four secondary disciplines: Optics, Atomic and Molecular Physics, Theoretical Physics, and Condensed Matter Physics. The School currently employs 51 full-time teachers, including 9 Professors and 13 Associate Professors. There are 20 Master's/Doctoral Supervisors. The faculty includes 1 Overseas Outstanding Young Scholar, 1 recipient of the Provincial Distinguished Young Scholars Fund, 2 Tianjin Distinguished Professors, 1 Tianjin Excellent Teacher, and 8 Tianjin "131" Innovative Talents. Nine teachers have won awards in teaching competitions in Tianjin and nationwide. Approximately 80% of the teachers hold doctoral degrees, and 15 have overseas visiting scholar or postdoctoral experience.
